Routine Testing & Inspection
Fire protection systems are required by code to have routine testing and inspection. The frequency is based on which type of system it is, and all technicians must have the approperiate certifications. Records of all system inspections, tests, and maintanence must be maintained onsite. These will be reviewed at all Risk Check inspections. Additionally, records can also be submitted to our office electronically.
Below is a listing of some of the most common systems:
System | Testing Frequency | Required Certification |
Fire Alarm | Annually | NICET II Level |
Sprinkler System | Annually | WSFMO XXX |
Commercial Hoods | 6-months | |
Verify certification with NICET.
Verify certification with Washington State Fire Marshal's Office (WSFMO).
