KITSAP COUNTY BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM

2017 CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER)

     The Kitsap County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnership (HOME) program has completed the 2017 Annual Performance Report to account for progress made in relationship to its current Consolidated Plan. This report, prepared for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), includes a summary of activities that received CDBG and/or HOME funding during the 2017 grant period.  The purpose of the CDBG and HOME program is to meet community and economic development, public service, and housing needs in Kitsap County. 

     Public review and comment is welcome at this time. Written comments can be mailed to: Kitsap County Block Grant Program, 345 6th Street Suite 400, Bremerton WA  98337 or email btufts@co.kitsap.wa.us. The reports are available for review on the County's website, or at the Kitsap County Block Grant Office at 345 6th Street (Norm Dicks Government Center), Bremerton WA (Suite 400). Kitsap County is seeking written public comment now through May 14, 2018 on the following Policy Plans for the 2019 Coordinated Grant Application cycle:

2019 CDBG/HOME Policy Plan 

2019 AHGP, HHGP, and CHG Policy Plan

The 2019 Policy Plans include detailed information on eligibility and use of funds. Please submit all comments to:

A public hearing to review and approve the 2019 Kitsap Coordinated Grant Application Policy Plans will be held during the Kitsap County Board of County Commissioners regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 5:30pm in the Commissioners Chambers, at the Kitsap County Administrative Building, 619 Division St., Port Orchard, WA. The meeting location is accessible to those with disabilities.

Important Grant Application Dates:

May 9th, 2018 – The 2019 Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA), which includes details regarding total estimated funds available, will be posted to this site.

May 15th and 16th, 2018 - Mandatory Technical Assistance Sessions for all prospective applicants will be held, see the Application Schedule for details.

May 16th the Stage 1 Application will open online and will be due June 5, 2018.
