Planning and Environmental Programs

Kitsap County’s history has always been characterized by the relationship of its peoples and the environment. Continuing that relationship, the Planning and Environmental Programs Division provides long-range planning for Kitsap County’s natural and built environments. Staff work with citizens, cities, and tribes to prepare for the future, often looking ahead 30 years or more. They work to sustain the culture and quality of life we treasure in Kitsap County into the future.
