Kitsap County is proud to offer a robust internship program that provides valuable real-world experience for students and recent graduates. Whether you are looking to explore a potential career path, build your professional skills, or gain hands-on experience, our internship opportunities can help you get a head start on your future.

As an intern with Kitsap County, you'll have the chance to work alongside our dedicated staff in various departments and offices, including Public Works, Community Development, The Auditor's Office, and more! You'll contribute to meaningful projects, attend professional development workshops, and network with industry leaders.

Our internship opportunities are open to sophomore (2Y) - senior (4Y) students, as well as recent graduates. These are paid internship positions, requiring a minimum of 20 hours per week, up to a maximum of 40 hours. Typically, our internships run from May through September, but we are happy to work with students to accommodate scheduling needs and academic calendars.
