Depending on the crime you are charged with, you may or may not be eligible for certain sentencing alternatives listed below.

Kitsap County Adult Drug Court

Adult Drug Court is a judicially supervised treatment program for chemical dependency as an alternative to criminal

Kitsap County Veterans Court

Veterans Court is a judicially supervised treatment program for chemical dependency and/or co-existing

mental disorders as an alternative to criminal prosecution in Kitsap County. Screening for

Drug Offender Sentencing Alternative
(DOSA)
This alternative allows for chemical dependency treatment and monitored supervision in lieu of

some or all of the usual period of incarceration.  There are two types of drug offender

sentencing alternatives - residential and prison-based.

Family & Offender Sentencing Alternative (FOSA)

The WA Legislature in 2010 approved SSB 6639, a bill supported by the Department of Corrections (DOC) and the

Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS), that makes some nonviolent offenders who

have minor children eligible for supervision & treatment in lieu of prison.
