State vs. Blake
On February 25, 2021, the Washington State Supreme Court issued an opinion in State v. Blake, Cause No. 96873-0, declaring RCW 69.50.4013 regarding simple drug possessions unconstitutional. Convictions that fall under this RCW (and its predecessors) may be eligible for vacation, and any legal financial obligations assessed and paid on these cases may be eligible for refund. Beginning in July 2023, refunds will be facilitated by the Administrative Office of the Courts. Please visit them at www.courts.wa.gov for more information.

office, grocery store or many convenience stores in amounts up to
$500.
CASHIER'S CHECKS for amounts
over $500 are only available through a bank.

PAYMENT may be made the following

IN PERSON with cash, money order
or cashier's check. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
in Room 202 (2nd Floor) of the County Courthouse. The office closes for lunch
between 12:15 - 1:15.
BY MAIL: Put YOUR NAME (as it
appears on the court order) and CASE or ACCOUNT NUMBER on your money order or
cashier's check to ensure proper credit.
If you want a receipt returned
to you, include a Self-Addressed, Stamped Envelope.
Payments must be
received by the end of the month to be considered timely. Postmarks are
not proof of timely payment.

Fines
and fees only. Deposits into the court registry must be made with cash,
money order or cashier’s check. Registry payments by credit card will be
refunded.

A minimum fee of $2, up to 2.4% of
the transaction amount, will be charged for online payments and payments made
over the phone.
