Federal Officials
Members of the U.S. Senate are elected to 6-year terms by voters throughout the state of Washington. Kitsap's representative (Congressional District 6) in the U.S. House of Representatives is elected to a 2-year term by voters in Kitsap, Pierce, Jefferson, Clallam, Mason and Grays Harbor counties. All races are partisan. Members take office on the January 3rd after the election, unless otherwise legislated.
