Election Audits and Certification This page includes Hash testing results, video and certification of the audits we perform, the meeting of the Kitsap County Elections Canvassing Board, and leads with a short video explaining all the audits we do during an election.
Webcams Ballot processing will be light for this election because we will be processing ballots for just 306 voters, but we will keep the cameras on for you to watch while we work.
Random Batch Audit Every election we randomly select batches of ballots, totalling 600 ballots or more, to hand count and compare with the tabulation system, to make sure our system is counting ballots accurately. Because this election was only for 305 voters, we hand counted the results posted on Election night to make sure the numbers matched. It's much like a hand recount.
